l got puzzled when the gap on the bosch plugs is a lot smaller than what the guy in the shop told me it should be. He said 0.077in.

Best idea is to research the plugs u have & go with the setting that is called for. Basically, the paltinum will have the slightly bigger gap. of .043

looked in up on mitchell for ya.
conventional plug is .031-.035 inches (.80-.90 mm)
platinum is .043 inches (1.10 mm)
tighten them to about 20 inch lbs of torque when installing a new set.
