How is it on gas?
Ever had problems with it?

l think it is the hottest looking car under $100,000 (the hottest being the Audi r8)

l dont own one. but a friend of mine does. He drives me around a lot, pretty good on gas not as good as your civic it is rated 17 city/24 highway

never had any problems with it, it is a very good car. Also very fast.

drive my dads 350z(same car, there like 99% the same) he gets about 20mpg in the city, and about 25 on highway. cool car he has not had any problems with his yet, but he takes it in for every standard maintance there is. so if you get a g35 that has been taken car of then you will have a great car

it will be a huge leap from your civic. More power steering is more direct. Better feed back from the wheel. Altho the ride comfort is..well.''sporty''
Regardless if you moving from a civic you will love it.

And a good car is not about power or looks is about when you turn the car on does it returns the favor.

You r correct. It is one hellava a hot car..not sure if it is as hot as u though :)

Naturally it is not as good on gas as a Civic; even the latest Si. But l recommend getting the 6MT. You will get more power & u will be able to drive conservatively.

It is definitely a fun FUN car to drive given that the engine is mated to the rear wheels. Enjoy the so called ''orgasmic lock-in effect''. However despite being a RWD the LSD & Stability Control will bail u out in the snow. Plus it has a ton of bells & whistles.

Whatever u do, do not compare it to a 3 Series Coupe. The Infinity will never match up to it in any category.

Edit: The Infinity G-35 & Nissan 350Z r not quite the same car. The body & features r different. Based on how the question has been posed u can tell she does not know much about technical specs when it comes to cars. She wants luxury, bells & whistles & safety. Clearly she wants the G-35.

Yes, '04 G35 two door. Love it, 280 horses, automatic/slap shifter, silver/black leather interior. it is very quick. Payed $25,000 for it, a year ago. Runs perfectly, but is not my daily driver. l do not really care about the gas mileage.

l use to own a G35 coupe, l absolutely loved that car. l think u should buy it, u wo not be disappointed. My parents own a Honda Civic, so l know what it is like to go from a Civic to a G35.

Negatives really r that the gas is not that great, l got about 20 mpg with that car, & if it snows where u live, better get snow tires.

Acceleration & handling is great. Even though the Acura TL that l have now accelerates just as good, under 6 seconds, it just does not feel the same as the G coupe, & l really regret not buying another coupe.

l loved my G coupe. l really miss it.

To answer the question, nope.

My dad is got a G35 sedan, not quite the same but we've driven the coupe too (as well as the new G37; damn nice car). From ur questions l am guessing speed, power, & handling r not ur main priorities. That said, u would most likely be happier with a different car. While they're reliable, they're pretty hard on fuel (my dad is getting around 18 mpg with his sedan, & they both have the same basic engine) & it would probably be a real change from the 25-30 mpg ur civic probably gets. l would recommend the new Honda Accord coupe to you. It looks really great (IMO), comes standard with a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine, & is reliable (hey, it is a Honda). Not only that, but a moderately loaded Accord 4-cylinder coupe would probably run u about the same $ as an '03-'04 G35 coupe.

Next time ur civic is in for service, arrange a test drive.

It is very bad on gas.
The Front bumper always hits the ground because it is so close to the ground. The G35 Coupe is basically a Nissan 350z, but more luxurious and slower.
It goes from 0-60 in 6 seconds. It does not have any reliability problems. The insurance is expensive. It uses Premium gas.

l own a 2004 G coupe. l love the car. l am always changing cars every year because l always want something different but the G l cant seem to get rid off. I've had it now for 2 years (bought it in '05) and is the best car l owned. Gas is not bad especially if you do a lot of highway driving. l never had a problem with it.
