l actually have an '03 G35 and I've had to replace the radio 3 times!!!The first time it just quit, the second time it was draining the battery, and now l was being told it was the resistor or something.
The first two times it was covered by the warranty but I've since past that.l was just wondering if these are common problems with this type of vehicle because I've never in all 6 of the vehicles I've owned, had a problem like this.

To the idiot who commented that l did not know how to ''handle'' or ''drive'' a luxury vehicle.I'd first like to know how many luxury vehicles you've owned and secondly, what does the radio have to do with handling or driving a luxury car.Do not you have something better to do with your time?

To be honest l never encountered a problem that deep. It seems the radio is not the problem & there could be a harness issue, or something else. l saw a rat nest in a car once & wires chewed up that caused many failures. If u r a regular customer with the dealer l recommend u tell the manager ur problem & that there is still an issue because chances r the radio is not the problem & they overlooked something. But it is definitely strange. l can tell u that the later model G35 (05 & 06) has very few problems at all. And the new 07 model has been good so far. l just wished Clarion would improve their products period.
