No. What do you expect with a high-output V6 like the VQ35. Expect 18/22 or something like that depending on your driving habits. Congrats on the G35 and good taste in cars.

If you can afford the car/insurance you can afford whatever the gas will cost. If you have a commute more then 25 miles each way you may want to consider something more practical.

Nope, but it is about the same with the other car manufacturers. l asked my friend what he gets on his BMW & he says he gets about 18mpg. l get an average of 18 miles per gallon when going about 65 on fwy & not racing any other driver who tries to egg me on. l wish it had better gas mileage but hey, the fun factor is well worth it. l may not drive that fast with it, but when l want to, l know l can.. ; )

Do not expect a high performance car to get great gas mileage. Even though the EPA estimates 18/25, they must be running it at 50 miles an hour on fwy & driving like Miss Daisy in the city.
