l am looking at a used Infiniti I35 and it is very nice looking. However, the rear seatbelt is ripped. l know it is the dealership is responsibility to fix that but does anyone know if the belt can be easily replaced and/or how much it will cost?

Yes, it can be fixed, make the Dealer do it as part of the sale. They will bitch and moan, but they are responsible for selling a SAFE car.

Seatbelt are more expensive than you think. l bought one for a truck one time and it was 185.00. As you said its the dealers responsibility, so let them do it. As for replacing it, its really easy. Just two bolts, and many adjustments.

You can get seat belt out of wreck if needed. Many cars are hit in back or slightly damaged like a side swipe. (the belts are not stressed) You can get then cheaper . But Its an infinity parts will be hard to find so make them fix it.

No they are not bad to change just time consuming .
