Very refined car with 300hp and 300ft/lbs. Comes very close to besting a BMW 335i for $10000 less. GO to caranddriver.com and search for infiniti g35 to find many articles and comparisons.

l got one a few months ago and the notable things about it are: it looks great (IMO), It is fast as hell (306HP and 268lbs-torque), has a comfortable interior, and has a great AWD system ( l got the X). It is basically just an overall great car, better in every way to a 328i BMW, and IMO better than a 335i (even if not quite as fast).

The Infiniti G35 is a supercharged power machine it has a great mile to the gallon ratio & alot of HP (also more money) But its agraet car. It has a great engine & it is V8 (WOW) It also has more advanced Tech Features & style. It also has massive options & features than Acura & Lexus even BMW. Plus its all about safety & HP. Dont get me wrong but its a japanese 2nd generation nissan. l realy recommand it (and the Coup too). Go to Infiniti.com & request a broshure trust ne u will be amazed.

First of all disregard the dude before me is post. Its wrong: its not supercharged nor is it a V8.

Summary:
Vehicle Tested:
2007 Infiniti G35 Sport 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
MSRP of Test Vehicle: $38,850 Price It!!

What Works:
Fast, fun & athletic; great engine made even greater; automatic matches revs on downshifts; sporty interior has moved upscale; awesome brakes.

What Needs Work:
Vehicle-speed-sensitive steering assist sometimes feels artificial, suspension tuning is too stiff.

Bottom Line:
Infiniti turns up the heat on the BMW 3 Series.

Read the edmunds article!

Also l highly suggest u go & drive one because they r amazing. You will save 10 grand compared to a 335i its well worth it.
l have a first gen coupe, I've owned the 6MT one & a 5AT. Lets put it this way, the 2nd generation sedan & coupe have got me drooling!

For the brand new ones, in a nutshell, the G35 offers the power of a BMW 335i at the price of the 328i, providing a very compelling bargain.

The BMW may arguably be the better car, but the Infiniti is definitely a steal.

For the previous generation, the car represented a change in direction for Infiniti, from a maker of rebadged, tarted up Nissans (save for the Q45) with no design direction or brand identity into a brand that is going directly after BMW in terms of performance, & beating it in value.

You can get a G35 Journey well equipped with the premium package, which comes with a high level of equipment, for around $36,000 MSRP. In my book, that is a steal, especially when the 335i might go for $40,000+ similarly equipped.

Look up Nissan Skyline GT 350. This is what is so special about the G35: a racing heritage and respect the world over. Skylines hold records at tracks around the world. They have actually been banned from many racing circuits due to the cars being too dammed good in races. l own a first gen 6mt sedan, and will be buying the Skyline upon release later this year.
