Iam thinking of buying a 04' infiniti g35 with 55k mi for 15k is that a bad deal ? l checked the kbb value and itsa 23k but im just not sure if l should because of the salvage title is it worth it?

That depends on why it is salvaged. If it is from a huge wreck then the frame of the car is prob not as strong as it originally was. If it is water damage or something like that it should be okay.

find out what made the car get a salvage title. if it has been repaired u can usually go to the DMV to get a Rebuilt/Reconstructed Title also u probably should get with ur insurance company to see if they will insure it, some insurance companies do not like to insure salvage title vehicles. lastly u want to double check the car with a mechanic to make sure that u wo not be buying it only to be putting a lot more money into repairing anything wrong with the car.

The deal on this car is o.k., but here is what u need to know. In many, but not all states, damage equal to 80% of the G35 retail value will get it a salvage title. In this case, it had to have at least $16k of damage to total it. This was a very serious accident! You need to be sure the airbags were reloaded (crooks will just turn off the airbag light) & have the car looked at by a master tech. You also need to know that most banks wo not finance a car with a salvage title, so how will u pay for it. Also, unless the paint job is excellent, it will probably peel & discolor before u pay off the vehicle. Good Luck & be careful with this one!

Ignoring that u should never get a salvage title, u can find a better deal. When l was looking for cars, l found plenty of G35 is that were no accident cars with around the same milage. You can get a much better deal.

Also, the car eats brakes, so be prepared for that. l had my front pads done for 400 bucks recently, & u will have to do it every 15k.

Either way, l am sure u can find a better deal. Never buy a car with a salvage, & be careful buying cars with accidents.
