l bought this car thinking it would be a great sporty car but it did not meet my expectations,l used to have an 02 Camaro SS and l know this wouldnt be the same but l thought this was supposed to be a real nice sporty car
LOL that was funny, yea l know man.My camaro would run circles around this thing with only the rear wheels
Yea its more upscale, but id rather have the power man,im getting my camaro back!!!!!!!
Im not an idiot, the camaro had a cam, custom tune, hardend push rods, new valve springs, shift kit, etc, blah blah, easier to work!G35 or BMW wont even keep up.Which is back in my hands!!!And let me tell you,my first new set of tires are melted into the asphalt in front of my house!!! OH YEA!!!!

l dont know dude, you should have noticed it is (slowness) when you test drove it. You can supercharger or turbo it, but the engine is not very stout, it looks good though, especially from the front because thats all l see after l pass em! LOL! just kidding dude.

Haha well you are used to that awesome American V8 power and torque so downgrading to a japanese V6 must have been quite a shock! I've driven a few different import and american sporty cars and it always seems like the american V8 will hit you in the seat of your pants and is much more satisfying than a 4 or 6 cyl engine. The G35 is a very nice car though - much more upscale than a camaro.

Its not, you're just used to a bigger engine. If u want a fast car get a lotus or the new bmw 335i. If u do not have money for those pick up a 350z andput a little cash into it. A camaro is a boat & its pretty barren on the inside too.

Edit: Its kind of pointless comparing a car with a bunch of mods & extra work against a regular g35. l can get a POS MR2 from the 90 is throw 10-15k at it, rip out everything l do not need & make it a fast car. It does not instantaneously make it a good car. u just frankensteined it together to be fast.

yes a stock 335i or a lotus will rip a stock camaro to shreds. Comparing stock vs mods is a waste of time.

You need to switch to the German side and get a 335i.

First of all did u buy it new? If not, it might need some maintenance. l have a 2003 G35 coupe, & my car runs well. l can out run A BMW 3 series just not an M3 of which l own also. A SS Camaro is not as good a car as G, will the chevy is in the shop l will just be enjoying my car. l have put in a Z tube & a high flow air filter from Jim Wolf technology. l have increased the HP & torque. The're not to hard to put in or u can pay a Tech to do it. l think u will like the difference. Also wo not void warranty & does not cost a lot.

Why? Simple math:
04 G35 - 280HP, 270ft/lbs 3.5L V6
02 Camaro SS - 325HP, 350ft/lbs. 5.7L V8

If u wanted Balls to the Wall speed, G35 was not ur best choice. Even the 350Z would have been better than the G, since it is lighter. The G needs a LOT of aftermarket add-ons to make it a true muscle-car contender. It is fast out of the box, but not THAT fast.

The G is a lot better at one thing over the Camaro, though, & that is turning heads (At least of anyone out of high school). My 04 still gets compliments at stop lights, or long looks from other drivers as l pass by.
