Is an Infiniti G35 very fast

kind of. l think it goes 160 mph on the speedometer, just an ordinary sports/luxury car.

The g35 is fast but not as fast as the evo. however the evo is more expensive and the g35 has alot of aftermarket parts to make it go that much faster. the g35 still is a force to be recond with.

That depends what you're comparing it to. It is faster than 80% of the cars on the road, but it is far from one of the fastest cars on the road. Even its close cousin, the 350Z is faster than the G. The Z is much lighter than the G, with the same powerplant, so that would be a better choice if you wanted a faster car.
But the G is easily fast enough to throw you back in your seat when you get on the gas. It is certainly fast enough to get your blood pumping.

dude if u want one l would get it my dad has one that thing flies also l think it go 200-250 hp but it is very light l think it could even probably beat a corvette if you get the high rank g35 but if was me getting a new car l would get the nissan nismo

Fast but not very fast. Coupe or sedan? l would never get the sedan btw.

l have a 2003 G coupe 6 speed with the Brembo brakes. Its faster than Mustang GT's, but its really a driver is race. Its faster than the Mazda RX8 by far & will run neck & neck with an S2000 depending on the driver again. l am a bit above average on driving skills. The car is only fault is a clutch that does not want to fully engage when u feed it a lot of power.

Personally, l think the car is fast, u can pass any slow movers with ease by a quick downshift & u will be a 1/4 mile ahead of them if u keep the pedal down. It has enough torque though, that u can drive it at highway speeds in 6th gear & not have to downshift to pass slower movers.

HOWEVER - the car stops quicker than u can imagine. The brakes, even without the Brembo is r PHENOMINAL. Trust me when l say that these brakes have saved my ss more than one time. They never fade, warp, shimmy or overheat. Infiniti is brakes r the best part of this car.

But yeah, its fast! Just learn how to feed gas into ur clutch & it is as fast as any comparable car.

And no, its not in Evo, STi or Porsche territory. But it will go 150mph, l GAR - ON - TEE it!

l have a G35 coupe, & it is plenty spirited enough for me. 100 km/h about 6 seconds. It is faster than most of the cars on the road; but certainly not the fastest.

Remember the G coupe is really a GT car, not a sports car..and l gotta admit, it is not a very comfortable GT car, lol. It is in the same territory as a RX8, the new Audi TT, of a BMW 645i. Faster cars of course r Porsche 911, M3, WRX STi. Even faster than those r Corvettes, various Ferraris & Lambos.

Fastest I've driven my G is about 230 km/h..about 140 mph.but the car will do about 260 - 270 km/h.
