l have a 2003 infiniti G35 coupe and the drivers side window sometimes goes down automatically after l turn off the car and get out and shut the door. It is getting very annoying, l have walked off before and left my car with the window down not knowing it had went down automatically. Does anyone know why this happens or what l can do to make it stop? Thanks in advance!!!

well l would take it to a dealership and see what they can do, if they can not do anything then call some body shops. l am sure its not a big problem and can be fixed easy.

l think there may be some programmable functions with that vehicle. You might check with the dealer about that.

Read your manual. There is a feature that is linked to your door locking system that will close the windows etc.
l think you should find the answer there.

It goes down after u leave the car, huh? That is odd, since the window controls stop working once u open the door with the key not in the ON position. And it is only ur driver is window, not the passenger one as well? The Infinitis do have a feature where if u hold the unlock button on the key fob, the windows will automatically go down. But that would also make ur passenger window go down. It seems like that window control is getting a bad signal to make the window go down. I'd take it to the dealer. Whatever it is it is doing something that definitely should not happen.

The first thing you should try is put the key in the driver door outside the car and hold it in the lock position until windows go up and unlock position run windows all the way down repeat. If it is a normal reset needed the problem will be the window will go up to top and come back down 3-4 inches.

l had the exact same thing happen to me on my 04 coupe, except with passenger side window. The window regulator motor can not adjust itself properly to ''know'' the height the window is supposed to be. On the coupe, the window moves slightly down & back up when opening & closing the door. On the up movement, it thinks it has gone too far & rolls back down a few inches. You can take it to the dealership & they will replace it free, as long as u still have it under warranty, otherwise look at replacing the window regular motor. If u r looking to do it yourself look at this link http://350z-tech.com/zwiki/Service:TSB_04-089_Window_Regulator_Motor_Reset_Procedure
