What are your favorite aspects? Any drawbacks?

l like the g37 better, as for the g35 its a pretty sweet car cant say ne thign negative about it

the new g37 is beutiful

l love my 04 G35 coupe.

The car is amazingly fun, especially with the manual transmission.

My favorite things about it would be:
Rear Wheel Drive
Beautiful exhaust note
Powerful engine
Manual Transmission
Brembo performance brakes - The car really can stop on a dime.
Head turning good looks - l still get a lot of compliments from people about how nice my car is.

Drawbacks? l really can not think of any.

Pros:
** Powerful & fast
** Smooth running
** Quiet
** Handles & brakes beautifully

Cons:
**Brakes can wear out every 15-20,000 miles & **The rotors can last <30,000 miles. Altogether, costs for brake job can be $600-800
** Repair costs r high
** Audio system-- CD player broke within days of purchase. Sound system is a Bose, but the extreme low level which means sound quality is severely compromised
** Gas hog-- 15-17 city & 19-23 highway
** Poor snow/ice performance, too low to the ground & gets stuck
** Customer service is among the worst

l LOVE MY G35..

pros..
*Drives incredible with incredible conviction & performance
*Takes corners well
*Looks good, feels safe
*If u take care of it, she will take care of you

cons. ( similar to the answer given above)
*Bose/Clarion 6 disc changer did break a couple of times, dealership handled it
*yep, eats gas
*Brake pads/rotors wear out faster than say, a Toyota corolla
*First year model ownere here '03-
tires, larger in back, than in the front- u can not rotate ur tires front to back, or criss cross. However, they have recently gotten approval from Nissan maybe or perhaps it is my dealership, that they r removing the tires from the wheels & flipping them, then the tread is wearing more evenly.
(Only other thing I've heard to correct the uneven tread wear is to put on an after market camber kit)

Ultimately, it is an awesome ride.. paid too much for mine, but l will definitely chalk it up ton my once in a lifetime ''impulse'' purchase!

Service Dept at the dealerships r incredibly awesome, friendly to deal with.

l am really glad l purchased my G, l do not think there is a car out in my price range that l would rather have.yes the new G is nice.but l am not sure l would go & buy the new G37. l was thinking of a 6 series or a M3.but we will see.

Pros: Nice acceleration, ability to pass people with ease, great handling, rear wheel drive, amazing looks, very sexy, ladies like the car.

Cons: Drinks gas like a mother, attracts police (4 tickets in 4 months.. l had none in my previous car of 6 years), loud road noise from the rear tires, loud road noise from lack of insulation. Lack of rear visibility, l have the worst problems parallel parking this car. It is a more stiff ride than l would prefer..hence why l am looking at a 6 series & an M3 as a next car.
