So l was driving home today from visiting my family and about 20 miles form my house the SES light came on, my car sounded ok and ran fine bu tl am wondering what could cause ti to turn on and about how much it will cost to get fixed? any help would be great

Ok l just got it checked and it gives me a code of p0160 which is o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2 which l think is the passenger side rear. is that correct?

you probably accidently hit a button that turned it on look in your gear shifter for an SES button.

You need to go to autozone they check diganostic codes for free, or can buy one for $35.00 or more on ebay, also a simple fix is make sure the gas cap is clicks two to three times or replace the gas cap.

Its hard to say what is wrong with it. The ses light will come on when there is a problem with one of the sensors. If you go to your local auto zone they can check what trouble code it has stored in the computers memory and then you can see in which direction to go.

If you can afford an Infiniti QX4 why bother? Take it to the dealer, they know what to do. :-)
