l just bought a 04 G35 coupe automatic like 2 weeks ago. l noticed the mpg im getting is about 7-8 mpg... Which is ridiculous low...Worst than aV8... Anyone know whats wrong with it?

l tried changing the air filter, oil change, proper air pressure on the tires. Do not know what eles to do! Please help =/

It is hard to believe you are getting that kind of mileage. A G35 running that bad will have codes stored. Has anyone screwed with the motor before you bought it?

Bring it to Pep Boys and have them check for a fault code.

yeah, that is pretty bad, l use to get 14 mpg.which l thought was horrible. Get it to a mechanic.

Spark plugs? l use to drive it pretty hard, but 7 mpg is BADDDD

If you just got it two weeks ago your still probably driving hard and fast causing you to have bad miles per gallon.
But if not it could be dirty fuel lines and injectors.
also if you just bought it you should see if you can take it back cause no car is suppose to get that many mpg in America
