The guy across the street is selling a black one for $5,500. everything sounds decent and seems to be working fine. Has 100,000 miles.Only problem, the mesh shade in the back looks to be stuck and also, the stereo wo not turn on (maybe a fuse or a wire is bad). Is this a good car for the price?

They're sort of bullet proof.

This is a good price for an I30 because if the car was well maintained than you should about 75,000 more miles on it. And the sun shade on the back is not that expensive to change, but take another look at the stereo, are you sure its a fuse? Many people get ripped of because the stereo is faulty..or you can just by an external stereo.
