So l like the way the gauge cluster looks in the 2005 G35..but unfortunately l cant afford that right now so im looking to get an 03 or 04...but l wanted to know if it was possible to swap the gauges from the 05 to an older model?

also do you know of any other differences between the 04 or 03 compared to the 05?

l belive the 2005-2007 G35 is got the VQ35HR (up to 298HP) engine which is more efficient and more powerful than the VQ35DE thats in the 2003-2004. Also the interior was given a slight overhaul with better surfaces and REAL aluminum trim. 19 is were standard on the 2005+ G35 Coupe 6MT. Brembo brakes are not available post 2004. l think thats it. As far as switching the gauges, l do not think its possible. Just get an aftermarket kit.

all first gen g35 coupe and sedans have a vq35de engine. main difference that people notice are the arrangement of the interior dash. the clock and radio trim areas are different. here is a link to show the differences between years.
