l wanna buy a infiniti g35 manual but my wife can not drive a manual. l know they have a manual and an automatic but does the automatic have the same engine sound like the manual. Thank you for all your help

No, that would be impossible. There is no mistaking the sound of an automatic.

When accelerating you can always tell by the gear changes what kind of transmission it is, if thats what you mean. Even if its tiptronic.

Driving slow you can usually pick an auto due to its smooth gear changes,but the g35 auto has good 0-60 so we know its fast to speed this makes a difference as foot down or just faster driving you would never tell.With modern auto boxes even more so on a Sporty car the car drives into higher revs and apart from slow cruising auto is and manuals sound all but the same.
