Its a nice all around car. l actually race autocross with one but you can also take it out for a nice comfortable ride when needed.

It depends on ur definition of a good car & also what the G35 is optioned with.
Pros: It uses Nissan is ''universal'' VQ35 V6 so if it ever breaks, parts r cheap & everywhere. Its an Infiniti, so it combines luxury, performance, & cost effectiveness. It is not as luxurious as a Benz nor will it out perform some BMW's, but its good at what it does. l personally love G35's.
Cons: If u get a G35x, gas mileage sucks. Alot. 17 or 18 mpg in the city. Do not listen to the dealers or G35 fan boys. Also, ur insurance is higher because most insurance companies see the G35 as a sports car.

Yes, the G35 is a great car. However, if l were you, l would spend a bit more money and purchase the new redesigned version which started in 2007. The interior improvements of the 07+ are phenomenal!
