l just bought one and l was wondering if sometimes l could use regular gas on my g35 since gas is a little expensive sometimes.

no, that car has a high compression engine that requieres that high octane, use cheap gas , and you will blow the motor eventually

A little expensive? Why did you buy a $30,000 car then. It a difference of $2.40 a tank. Is that going to break the bank? If the manufacturer recommends it, why not follow that. Your car will run on regular as there are fail safe systems programmed in the computer but l do not get why you would spend so much on a car and then take risks to save a couple bucks a tank.

you can put cheap gas on you car, but you will notice that you car can start shaking or your car will not run as great as when u use premium gas.. yes you can use it sometimes but try no to use it..

You could use regular gas but knocking may occur and it would increase wear and tear on your drivetrain. So yes in a pinch if you didnt have anything else you can but if its just to save a few dollars then no it would not be worth it in the long run.

If u can not afford the gas, u can not afford the car. This applies to any vehicle regardless of the manufacturer.

Using regular gas on the G35 engine would cause knocking & exacerbated wear & tear. The higher octane fuel is more viscous so it can travel to & through the engine much faster. Essentially, it can keep up with the larger demand for power & keep things running at an even keel.

You will also notice ur mileage will decrease with lower-grade fuel. Using 93 octane instead of the recommended 91-92, l have seen an increase of about 2mpg towards my average. High output engines require the best in order to perform as they were intended.

Besides, if premium is $4.25 & regular is $3.95 then multiply thirty cents times about 16 gallons & u do not even save $5 each fill up. But should u decide to go that route, the cost of repairs due to damage u will do to ur engine parts will grossly exceed the amount u saved on regular gas.

No not on the coupe, it will not brake down but if you plan on keeping the car for 5+years l would not use reg.

the makers of cars don'tt just put high octane gas ONLY in a manual for fun...dont even risk it your car will get f**ked up
