2003 infiniti G35 114K miles is this good ? i dont know much about cars..?

any infinity G35 is a good car. But 114k miles, you might want to look that up on kelly blue book. But good taste in cars.

The VQ engines on Nissans & Infinitis r great. The engine will run forever if maintained properly, so the issue is not on the drivetrain of these vehicles, it is with the other systems, especially the brakes.

l own a 2005 G35 Sedan, & let me tell u it is a great car, however the brakes squeak all the time, even when l still have about 60% of brake pads left. l have heard that the 2003-2004 models had brake issues, having had them replaced ever 12k miles. The car rattles inside as well, although with some music u can drown the rattles & squaks. Fuel economy is not that great either, l average 20 MPG all the time, with 50-50 driving street & highway.

The good about the car is that it looks great, l am always getting compliments on it. The engine is great & powerful to propel the car to good accelarations. l like the instrument panel, & seats r comfortable & space is good.

Overall the car is good, & the VQ engine is great, & even with that high mileage it will last u another 100K at least. But even if the engine lasts that long, beware with the other issues such as electronics & other bugs.

Nothing for these cars, but the coupes have been known to consume oil. Mine does, but the owner manual says it is normal. l have the same squeaky brake problem, but go aftermarket and that problem will be solved. l will let you know though...maintaining this car is pricey.
